I'm so thankful to be a Stay At Home Mom!!
My kids really are a lot of fun and being able to watch them grow up and me being the one that teaches them and molds their faith is a rewarding feeling! Being home when Hubby comes in the door from work, having dinner prepared {most nights!}, allowing the kids freedom to stay up late and sleep in during the summer because we have absolutely nowhere to be; it's all great!
I enter a new phase next Tuesday with P-man going off to Kindergarten, I'm not sure A-man and Sweetie will know what to do. The good part, they have had 3 1/2 wonderful years of play together that has been directed by THEIR imagination and MY supervision.
Staying at home has been rewarding, sending my first kid off to all-day-every-day school is scary, finding a job that meets some needs is in the near future (about 2 years away), having these past 5 1/2 years with 3 wonderful kids, PRICELESS! {I know it became a commercial but I couldn't help it!}
What are you Thankful for Today?
I too am grateful to be a sahm. It's been such a blessing for our family in so many ways. Sure it leads to frustration at times, and I wrestled with it quite a bit for a while, but in the end it's been the best thing for us.
ReplyDeleteI love being able to work from home. It's not often that moms are able to work from home for a seriously legitimate company (or ministry in my case) and it's been such a blessing. I'm also thankful for (mostly) healthy pregnancies! :)
